as far as favorite goes, I really, really, realllllly love spellbreaker. All those wonderful, delicious clicks. Makes me feel warm inside.

As far as best, however, I'm really split between Life Sheath and Air of Enchantment. I'm pretty sure Life Sheath still has some mechanical issues that need to be worked out, primarily reapplication and interaction with RoF and possibly Prot Spirit - reapplying an active Life Sheath doesn't reset the damage the sheath has taken, and if you have RoF and sheath on, both of them take the damage (you get healed though, but w/e). Prot Spirit does nothing until Life Sheath goes away - haven't tested Spirit Bond, but w/e.

Shield of Deflection. Most awesome skill animation in the game. (And good prot for an altar-capping hero. )

Where is Archipelagos? Is that Luxon? If so, is there a Kurzick counterpart?

No, there is no Kurzick counterpart as far as i know. Just go to Cavalon and take the south exit, and from there go south eastish, the boss is on a big island.

Ugh! I knew Anet was gonna do bullsh*t like this. I don't have Cavalon on my map because my alliance is Kurzick. I am not going to collect a bunch of Luxon faction to go in their areas. If you are gonna draw a big ass red line down the middle of your map and make players choose sides, then both sides need to have the same captures available.

well maybe ANet made it this way so that you will still visit both sides after you chose a side? And this way, PvE will probably be more interesting?
